Tap The Caret To Close

Book Review | Midnight Sun

The much anticipated Twilight Saga novel is out, so of course I had to check it out. I was extremely excited to hear Edward’s POV of Twilight.

I chose to listen to the audiobook version of this book because lately I’m finding it hard to focus on physical books. I’m so glad I did too! It was right under 25 hours in length and I believe it has 662 pages.

I found that this book seemed to drag on for the first half. I don’t know if it’s because I already knew what what going to happen or maybe the narrator they used? Also I found Edward to be a little repetitive, but am wondering if it’s to get the point across that he has low self esteem and is always second guessing himself.

I’ll be frank though, once I approached the ending, I was super into it. I even cried a little 🙄 It was fun to relive my favorite teenage romance. I’m glad she chose to include new information & get another viewpoint on the story.

Can we please get another book on life after 50 years or the rest of the novels from Edward’s pov?

Have you read it? What did you think?
